Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
The deal
Tidy is a high-powered AI assistant, not just static software. These terms explain what you’re getting and what we expect in return. Written by people, not lawyers. The legal entity behind Tidy is Heirloom Forge LLC.
What you’re buying
A powerful AI assistant that works across your whole digital life — triaging your inbox, keeping your calendar sane, running your projects, and recalling what matters. There’s a basic tier and a premium tier. Your subscription pays for the AI, the agents, the processing, and the secure infrastructure that runs it all.
Money, freezing, and the nuclear option
- Pay in advance: subscriptions are billed ahead.
- 60-day deep freeze: if payment lapses, your data is frozen but safe; the AI turns off.
- Wipe after 60 days: we don’t hoard dead data — after 60 days frozen, it’s permanently deleted. That’s the privacy-first stance, applied to billing.
- Pause anytime: you can pause your subscription.
Your data, your ownership
You own your data. We’re just the processor. It’s portable — export your notes, tasks, emails, and contacts anytime. Once you leave and your data is purged, it’s gone for good.
The “AI isn’t perfect” clause
The AI makes mistakes. It might mis-summarize an email or schedule something wrong. You’re responsible for double-checking the things that matter. Tidy is not your lawyer, your accountant, or your doctor.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Tidy for anything illegal. Don’t hack it or reverse-engineer it. Abuse means a ban.
On-device AI (Gemma terms)
For offline search, Tidy’s on-device AI uses Google’s Gemma-based EmbeddingGemma model, running locally on your device — nothing leaves your device for that. It’s subject to Google’s Gemma Terms of Use.
Updates to these terms
We’ll email you plainly when something big changes.
